Impressive feat comes after a challenging T20 World Cup 2024 where he struggled to claim a single wicket

All-rounder Shadab Khan has bounced back into form in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2024, taking four wickets in two consecutive matches.

This impressive feat comes after a challenging T20 World Cup 2024 where he struggled to claim a single wicket.

In his maiden LPL 2024 match, Shadab delivered a stunning hat-trick, becoming the second bowler in LPL history to achieve this after Wanindu Hasaranga.

Playing for Colombo Strikers, he also contributed 20 runs off 17 balls, helping his team post a total of 198. The Strikers secured a 51-run victory over the Kandy Falcons at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka.

Shadab was named player of the match for his exceptional bowling figures of 4 for 22. In the following match, he once again claimed four wickets, recording figures of 4 for 21.

Despite his efforts, the Colombo Strikers fell short by seven runs against the Galle Marvels on Wednesday.
