The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has allowed students from Gaza to continue their medical and dental education in Pakistan on humanitarian grounds.

The decision, made by the PMDC, follows a request from the Pakistani High Commissioner in London, according to PMDC President.

"On the request of the Pakistani High Commissioner in London, the PMDC decided to allow Gaza students to continue their medical education in Pakistan, enabling them to serve their country in the future," stated the PMDC president.

He further mentioned that the council aims to support Gaza students and will provide them with all possible assistance in Pakistan. "There will be approximately 100 students. Supporting Gaza's students reflects Pakistan's commitment to humanitarian aid and assistance," the president added.

A special committee has been formed by the PMDC to oversee this initiative. The medical and dental education in Pakistan meets international standards, ensuring that these students will be well-equipped to serve their homeland and compatriots upon completing their degrees.
