Rapper 50 Cent has taken to social media to mock fellow artist Rick Ross after a video surfaced showing Ross allegedly fleeing from a punch during a brawl in Vancouver. The incident, which occurred on the west coast of Canada after Ross played Kedrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us”, quickly went viral, prompting 50 Cent to share the footage on Instagram.

In his post, 50 Cent wrote, “LMAO [crying face emoji] THE GREAT ESCAPE! MEEKA CALL THE CHASERS, THEY ARE CHASING ME. [grinning face emoji] LOL.”

Adding to the ridicule, 50 Cent also posted a video of Ross’s ex-girlfriend, Tia Kemp, who criticized Ross for not fighting back. Kemp commented, “my guess is ya, won’t be going back to Canada acting like it ain’t what it is. LOL @tia_kemp2.”

In another video, 50 Cent sarcastically addressed the situation, expressing a mock concern for Ross and his entourage. “Hey guys. I just saw a very unfortunate situation that took place in Canada, and I want to say to everyone that I hope that that brother made it home safely,” he said. “I hope that he now has a different perspective and a better sense of what to do and what not to do while you’re out in the world.”

He continued, “That part where that young guy went like [holds fists up to body] — he did this little move and shit and got knocked the fuck out — that does not reflect him; that reflects his camp. And he might need to go get the, uh, the Dream Chasers? Or [laughs] the 305 Killers?” 50 Cent then broke character and laughed.

Meanwhile, Drake appeared to engage with the situation on social media by liking one of the many videos of the confrontation.
