In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar India, Zayn Malik shared insights into his latest album, "Room Under The Stairs," and hinted at his upcoming solo tour ambitions. Reflecting on his creative process, Malik revealed, “It started when I wrote ‘Alienated’ about six years ago. I wrote something I didn’t know I had in me. Once I unlocked that potential and realized I liked where the sound was headed, I wanted to create more."
Emphasizing his personal involvement in the album's creation, Malik stated, “I wrote the lyrics for 12 out of the 15 songs, I co-produced it, and I’m extremely proud of it. I didn’t feel it required another artist to tell my story right now.”
Looking ahead, Malik expressed his readiness for a solo tour, remarking, “I think my next goal, both personally and professionally, is touring again and having a good balance of being on the road and at home. I’ve never done a solo tour and it’s a big step, but I’m ready and I’m thankful everyone has been so patient. It’s time!”
The interview also highlighted Malik’s current lifestyle in the U.S., where he resides close to baby mommy Gigi Hadid and their daughter Khai, emphasizing his contentment away from the spotlight.
