Pearl Jam has announced the cancellation of two more European tour dates in Berlin, citing ongoing health issues among band members.
This announcement follows their earlier cancellation of a show in London for similar reasons.
In a statement shared on social media, the rock band expressed regret over the cancellations and emphasized their efforts to recover fully before resuming performances.
"Despite everyone’s best efforts, the band has yet to make a full recovery," the statement read. "The impacts of this decision are not lost on us."
The band expressed gratitude to their fans for their understanding and support, acknowledging the disappointment caused by these cancellations.
"We feel deeply that so many people spend their time, money and emotional energy to get tickets and then to come see the band," they said.
Pearl Jam had been scheduled to perform at Waldbühne in Berlin on Tuesday, July 2nd and Wednesday, July 3rd.
Tickets for these shows will be refunded at the point of purchase.
The band is slated to resume their tour in Barcelona on Saturday, July 6th.
Fans are hopeful for a quick recovery and potential rescheduling of the missed dates.
Pearl Jam recently made headlines at BottleRock Napa Valley festival in May, where they were joined onstage by actor Bradley Cooper for a memorable duet.
Cooper, known for his role in "A Star Is Born," performed "Maybe It's Time" alongside Eddie Vedder, highlighting their close friendship forged during the making of the film.
