Matthew Perry's estate, valued at over $1.5 million following his death, has been placed into a trust already worth more than $120 million, according to recent court filings. The actor, renowned for his role as Chandler Bing on Friends, passed away last year due to the acute effects of ketamine, leaving behind a will with various beneficiaries.

Named after Woody Allen's character in Annie Hall, Perry's "Alvy Singer Living Trust" includes his father John Perry, mother Suzanne Morrison, half-sister Caitlin Morrison, and former girlfriend Rachel Dunn, whom he dated from 2003 to 2004—a detail about whom little is known.

Newly disclosed court documents, reviewed by The U.S. Sun and filed in June, show Perry's personal assets totaled $1,596,914.47, surpassing initial estimates. Lisa Ferguson, trustee of Perry's estate, submitted an inventory and appraisal reflecting this amount, in addition to assets already within the trust. It was confirmed that Perry did not own any real estate in California at his death, although his $6 million Pacific Palisades home, where he was found unresponsive in the hot tub during renovations, remains under Ferguson's ownership and is not yet listed for sale.

Another property owned by Perry's Alvy Singer, LLC, in the Hollywood Hills has recently been listed for $5,195,000. During renovations, Perry rented a three-bedroom home overlooking Beverly Hills for $49,000 per month.

Perry's 2009-established trust explicitly excludes any future children from inheriting his fortune. He specified, "I have intentionally omitted from this Will and the Trust any provision for any of my heirs, issue, relatives, or other persons who are not named," including stepchildren or foster children. Perry was unmarried and childless at the time of his death.

The L.A. County Medical Examiner attributed Perry's death to accidental ketamine intoxication, compounded by drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine used in treating opioid use disorder. Questions arose over the presence of ketamine in Perry's system, typical of general anesthesia despite his last treatment occurring a week prior.

The Los Angeles Police Department, in collaboration with the DEA and U.S. Postal Service, continues to investigate Perry's death. Multiple individuals are expected to face charges, with Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller questioned multiple times following a search warrant at her sober living facility. Mueller and Perry reportedly formed a friendship after meeting in rehab.
