Drake marked Canada Day with a burst of patriotic pride, sharing posts on social media that showcased him enjoying the holiday at his lavish Embassy property in Toronto.

Wearing a Toronto Raptors T-shirt, the Toronto-born artist raised a cocktail on his Instagram Stories, proclaiming, "Happy Canada Day," followed by a toast, "Cheers to the whole country."

Further adding to the festive day, Drake posted on Instagram with a nod to his Canadian roots and lyrical prowess: "Custom design fine rhymes into salary. All the way from T-Dot to the Van City all stars."

As the celebrations unfolded, the "Wick Man" MC seemed unfazed by his ongoing disputes within the hip-hop community, which have intensified this year.

Recent events in Vancouver added fuel to the fire when fans allegedly confronted Rick Ross and his crew for attempting to play Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" at a festival.

This incident, emblematic of the deep-seated rivalries in the rap world, saw Drake's home country rallying in his defense.

Despite the controversy, it's unclear how Drake personally feels about the clash, though it has undoubtedly captured public attention.

Adding to the drama, 50 Cent joined in, trolling Rick Ross over the altercation, much to the delight of OVO supporters.

It's important to note, however, that the celebration of such conflicts can blur the lines between fan enthusiasm and advocacy for violence, a line fans should tread carefully.

Meanwhile, the rap community remains divided. While some artists continue to support Kendrick Lamar in the ongoing feud, Too $hort expressed his admiration for how the hip-hop community has stood by Lamar.

Speaking at the 2024 BET Awards, Too $hort praised Lamar's resilience in the face of adversity, hinting at a shift in the industry dynamics: "I like the way a lot of people stood up and rode with the homie [Lamar] in this one. Because it seemed like he was supposed to be the underdog," he explained.

Despite the tension, Too $hort also shared his enduring appreciation for Drake's softer, R&B side, a sentiment echoed by fans and critics alike.
