The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba franchise is expanding with a new movie trilogy, titled Infinity Castle. The trilogy will adapt the final arc of the popular manga series, which has been a huge hit in Japan. The news was announced following the final episode of the Hashira Training Arc in Japan.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment have acquired the rights to the trilogy for a global theatrical release, excluding select Asian territories and Japan. No release date has been confirmed yet, but fans of the series are eagerly anticipating the new installment.

The movie trilogy will be directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with Akira Matsushima as Chief Animation Director and Character Designer, and music by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina. The team at anime studio ufotable is working on the project, which is expected to be a thrilling conclusion to the series.

In related news, Crunchyroll has announced that it will be streaming both the TV anime series and Mugen Train Arc movie in sub and dub formats. The Hashira Training Arc subtitled episode premiered on June 11, and the English dub will premiere on June 30.
