Lauren Graham and Kelly Bishop, beloved stars of "Gilmore Girls," recently swapped their iconic Friday night dinners for a festive lunch.
The duo celebrated their reunion by posing for a cheerful selfie, which Graham posted on her Instagram account on Friday.
In the photo, Graham, who famously played the spirited Lorelai Gilmore, is seen donning a blue blazer, striped top, sunglasses, and a bucket hat.
Bishop, channeling her character Emily Gilmore, complements the snapshot with her black jacket, sunglasses, and sparkling jewelry.
Noticeably absent from the reunion was Alexis Bledel, who portrayed Rory, Lorelai's daughter. Graham captioned the photo, “Here’s to the ladies who lunch.”
Graham and Bishop starred together in the Amy Sherman-Palladino dramedy from 2000 until 2007 and later reprised their roles in the 2016 Netflix reboot, "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life."
Their dynamic portrayal of a mother-daughter relationship remains one of the most humorous and realistic depictions on screen, showcasing a blend of antagonism and fierce loyalty.
This nostalgic moment isn't the only recent reminiscence from the "Gilmore Girls" cast.
Keiko Agena, who played Lane Kim, revealed to E! News that she believes her character still harbors feelings for her first love, Dave Rygalski (Adam Brody).
"As rock & roll as she said she was, I think she would be pretty aboveboard, but I think there is some lovelorn heartsickness over that relationship," Agena shared.
"Maybe some daydreams. I don't know that she would ever act on anything, but a friendship for sure."
