10 shops sealed over encroachment
The Anti-Encroachment Cell of the Municipal Committee sealed 10 shops and also imposed fines worth Rs150,000 on the shopkeepers.
According to official sources, Anti-Encroachment Cell In-Charge Malik Ghulam Gillani along with his team inspected the Vehari Bazaar, Chowk Qasaieyan, Lakar Mandi Road and Joyia Road.
According to Assistant Commissioner Malik Farooq Ahmed, the World Bank had aided in converting Burewala into a model city.
