QUETTA:

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti on Friday reiterated the government’s dedication to addressing the challenges faced by the province through dialogue during the Balochistan Assembly session.

“The government is prepared to engage with everyone to seek political solutions to the issues concerning Balochistan,” he said. “Both the federal and provincial governments are ready to discuss with those who have concerns and reservations,” he maintained.

Bugti, however, kept a strict stance on violence. “Those responsible for the killing of teachers, labourers, and other innocent people will not be spared. We will embrace and respect law-abiding citizens, but if anyone takes the law into their own hands and forms armed groups, the government will assert its authority,” he stated firmly.

“No one will be allowed to challenge the government’s authority or form armed groups to spill innocent blood and such elements will be dealt with an iron hand,” he said.

On governance, Bugti highlighted initiatives to enhance the province’s education and health sectors.

“Significant funds have been allocated to improve health facilities and government-run schools across the province,” he remarked.
