Keke Palmer has sought clarity on a lyric from Kendrick Lamar's song "Not Like Us," where he refers to Drake as a "69 God." The track, which topped charts in May, includes several veiled shots at Drake. On June 27, Palmer took to social media to ask, “What’s so bad about being a 69 God?” This query led to various interpretations from her followers. One user pointed out the possible reference to rapper 6ix9ine, while another suggested it might imply "reverse god" or the devil.

Palmer’s confusion resonated with many, as another user summarized, “So the consensus is there is no consensus. Nobody knows what it means, but it’s provocative.” The number 6 is significant in Toronto, referencing area codes 416 and 647, and is often associated with Drake. His 2015 track “6 God” and his April release “Push Ups” both reference this moniker.

On June 22, Lamar was spotted filming the music video for “Not Like Us,” a track produced by Mustard and confirmed by Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. as Grammy-eligible. The ongoing debate around the lyric underscores the cryptic nature of Lamar’s wordplay and the layered meanings in his music.
