The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday has directed the government to stop drone attacks inside Pakistan.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday has directed the government to stop drone attacks inside Pakistan.


The court has disposed of the petition in this regard. The petition was filed by lawyer Sardar Zaheer Khan.


It requested the court to ask the federal government for a comprehensive report on any agreement or treaty with the US and Blackwater on drone attacks.


The petitioner maintained that the government should also provide details of the number of drone attacks, people killed and compensation provided to the victims.

Sultan Ahmed | 13 years ago | Reply As a print and electronic media is witness government of Pakistan repeatedly requested to the united states that drone attack be stopped forthwith but it is till continuing. many times America refused to stop the attacks. what is the reason behind it no one know but the fact is that there is some thing behind it. Innocent people including women and children are being died, who is responsible for that,government has been crying but their efforts remained fruitless. Some high ups are expressing that there is secret agreement between the states and present executive,may be may not. now is the court order now will have to explain the real condition circumstances must be surface the reality so that nation may come to the conclusion that what is the reality what our innocent people are being targeting.
