LAHORE:

Sabir Hamid Mithu, the father-in-law of former army chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa’s son, and his two associates Hamid Mushtaq and Chaudhry Ashraf Gharki, failed to appear before the FIA Anti-Corruption Circle in a case pertaining to alleged money laundering and acquisition of assets illegally.

However, their counsel appeared before the investigation officer. Sources said that the FIA sent the lawyer back, instructing him to ensure that those who had received the call-up notices appear with their original CNICs, foreign assets details, travel records, and FBR returns for the last 10 years.
