Judicial complex gets new water cooler

RAWALPINDI:

The cold water cooler at the Judicial Complex, which had been malfunctioning for a month, has finally been replaced.

Following a report by The Express Tribune about the lack of water for accused individuals brought from jail to appear in court, a new cold water cooler has been installed in the Bakshi Khana.

This new cooler was donated by a social organisation as a charity, as the district administration and police officers had declined to replace the damaged cooler with government funds. For the past month, prisoners had been relying on visitors for drinking water.
