When you're the offspring of a renowned actress, attending Balenciaga's haute couture show in Paris becomes just another ordinary evening.
Naomi Watts' and Nicole Kidman's children received invitations to Wednesday's show during Paris Fashion Week, where they sat in the front row next to their mothers.
Watts attended with her 15-year-old child Kai, whom she shares with former partner Liev Schreiber, while Kidman was accompanied by her 15-year-old daughter Sunday Rose.
Watts dressed in a white ensemble featuring shoulder pads and matching gloves, while Kai appeared relaxed in a black lace dress and sunglasses. Despite Watts' separation from Kai’s father in 2016, the Daily Mail reports that they are dedicated to co-parenting Kai and her older sibling, Alexander, who is 16.
Kidman, a Balenciaga ambassador, and Sunday Rose matched their outfits, both wearing black turtleneck dresses: Kidman in a sparkling monochrome design, while her daughter opted for a shorter velvet long-sleeved version, according to Us Weekly.
Both celebrity offspring are accustomed to red carpets and the world of high fashion. Watts and Kai attended the Dior show together in April of this year, while Sunday Rose and her 13-year-old sister, Faith, made their first appearances on the red carpet at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala in Los Angeles during the same month.
It seems inevitable to stay out of the public eye when your parents are always winning awards, but I'm not concerned. These children were practically born into this lifestyle.
