Flo Milli's Tiny Desk concert was featured during NPR's celebration of Black Music Month, highlighting Black women artists ranging from pioneers who have shaped today's Black music to emerging talents forging their own musical paths.

Many artists have been humbled by the Tiny Desk experience, but Flo Milli entered NPR headquarters and took her place behind the Desk with the unshakeable confidence of a seasoned veteran.

Despite her soft and feminine appearance, dressed in blush pink with baby’s breath in her hair, Milli's lyrical skill cut through like a sharp blade. Her lyrics were confident and boastful, complemented by Atlanta's Band of Brothers and her background singers, whom she named "The Floettes."

Flo Milli has established her unique path in hip-hop. At the age of 24, she has released a trilogy of albums — "Ho, Why Is You Here?" in 2020, "You Still Here, Ho?" in 2022, and "Fine Ho, Stay" in 2024 — and achieved her first Billboard Hot 100 charting single with the catchy track "Never Lose Me."

Making her debut with a live band, the performance offers a sampling from each of these albums.

The show begins with a blend of "Conceited" and "Bed Time," transformed with strong keybass and electric guitar elements. Afterwards, Milli and her band revisit her early career with "Beef FloMix," now infused with a soulful, guitar-driven rendition.

To conclude her performance on a high note, the band swaps their instruments for acoustic guitars and delivers a unique rendition of "Never Lose Me," featuring an exclusive new verse crafted specifically for the Tiny Desk audience.
