Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports and an avid Taylor Swift fan, has shared his bold prediction about the pop star's romantic future.
Speaking to Page Six while promoting his upcoming One Bite Pizza Festival, Portnoy expressed his confidence that Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, will likely propose to Taylor Swift before the year ends.
"It’s got to be coming soon. It seems like it’s ramping up. I would say within six months –– it feels like that," Portnoy stated, observing the couple's increasingly public relationship.
Despite some fans speculating that Swift and Kelce might already be secretly engaged, Portnoy argued that given their comfort with public displays of affection, a high-profile engagement announcement would be more their style.
"With how public they seem to be, they would very much want that to be a big show," he added.
The speculation gained further momentum after Kelce made a surprising appearance on stage at Swift's Eras Tour concert in London.
The cameo, which saw Kelce participating in a skit and sharing a tender moment with Swift, fueled further excitement among fans about the couple's deepening relationship.
Swift and Kelce have been notably affectionate in public since confirming their relationship last September at a Chiefs game.
Recent reports suggest that Kelce might propose on their one-year anniversary in July, aligning with Portnoy's predictions.
"Whatever makes mother happy? Good for her. I’m happy," Portnoy remarked.
In addition to his commentary on celebrity relationships, Portnoy is gearing up for the second annual One Bite Pizza Festival on September 14, 2024, at Randall’s Island in New York.
The festival promises to showcase over 30 of the world’s greatest pizzerias, turning it into a must-attend event for pizza enthusiasts.
Tickets for the pizza festival, featuring iconic establishments like Lucali and Prince Street Pizza, go on sale on June 28.
The event is set to offer a unique food experience that mimics visiting the best pizzerias in their native settings.
