King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived at Royal Ascot today, smiling as they attended the final day of the event.

Starting the final morning with a grand entrance, King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived at the Berkshire racecourse in their royal carriage. King Charles was seated next to Lady Charles Spencer-Churchill and former Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who were invited to join the procession. As their carriage approached, King Charles tipped his hat to the crowds, showing respect to those who contribute to the event's annual success.

Yesterday, King Charles shared a joke with jockey Tom Marquand after his victory in the Coronation Stakes race with Porta Fortuna during the trophy ceremony, as Marquand prepared to ride the King's horse, Hard to Resist.

Hard to Resist, an outsider with 50-1 odds, cantered down the green while King Charles and Queen Camilla watched. Their expressions of disappointment were evident as the horse failed to place, finishing seventh out of 31 horses, despite performing better than expected.

The couple inherited Queen Elizabeth II's thoroughbreds and celebrated their first Royal Ascot win last year when Desert Hero triumphed in the King George V Stakes.
