South Korean singer Crush, known for his contributions to K-drama OSTs, has undergone surgery for a herniated disc. On June 20, 2024, Crush’s agency, P NATION, released a statement on social media regarding his health and upcoming schedule.

According to the statement, Crush’s recent hospital visit revealed that his pre-existing herniated disc condition had worsened, necessitating immediate lumbar disc surgery. The agency stated, "Following his surgery, Crush has decided to focus on his treatment and recovery and temporarily suspend all scheduled activities." They emphasized that they prioritize the artist’s health and are committed to ensuring Crush returns in good health. The statement concluded with gratitude for fans' understanding and unwavering support.

Crush debuted as a soloist on April 1, 2014, with the single "Sometimes," and released his first album, "Crush on You," on June 5, 2014. He has been part of the music crew VV:D and has produced and featured in various tracks. His notable OSTs include "Sleepless Night" for "It’s Okay, That’s Love" and "Beautiful" for "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God." Most recently, he released "Love You With All My Heart" for the K-drama "Queen of Tears" on March 24, 2024.
