Kate and Anthony made a comeback bearing exciting news, following their absence at the start of 'Bridgerton' season 3.
In the final moments of the third season, which began airing on Thursday, June 13, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (Simone Ashley) arrived home after a blissful second honeymoon. Without hesitation, they shared the thrilling news that Kate was pregnant with their first child, sparking immense excitement in Anthony.
Kate and Anthony refrained from immediately informing his family, as they wished to avoid overshadowing the news of his brother Colin's (Luke Newton) engagement to Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan). Eventually, they seized an opportunity to reveal to everyone that they were expecting to welcome a new addition to their family.
As season 3 ended, Kate and Anthony eagerly anticipated parenthood, with plans to journey to her homeland of India before the arrival of their child. Although the epilogue, set at least nine months later, didn't provide a specific update on Kate and Anthony, according to Julia Quinn's book series, the couple welcomed their son, Edmund, named in tribute to Anthony's deceased father.
The significant event occurred following Kate and Anthony's notable absence during the first part of the third season. Viewers were initially introduced to the pair in season 2, which drew inspiration from Quinn's novel, ‘The Viscount Who Loved Me.’
‘Bridgerton’ season 3 part 2 is currently streaming on Netflix.
