Hailey Bieber reveals pregnancy struggles

Hailey Bieber shares pregnancy update, as she and Justin prepare for their first child.

Hailey and her husband, Justin Bieber, announced their pregnancy last month in a heartfelt video of their vow renewal. 

The video featured Hailey in a white lace dress and headpiece by Saint Laurent, designed by Anthony Vaccarello. 

The Rhode founder shared the news on Instagram, Hailey Bieber revealed that she is experiencing lower back pain during her pregnancy. expressing surprise at this common pregnancy symptom. "So who was gonna tell me about the lower back pain?" she wrote.

On Friday, June 7, Hailey posted a mirror selfie on her Instagram Stories, showcasing her growing baby bump in a cropped, striped shirt. According to a representative for Hailey, she is just over six months pregnant. 

A source close to the couple told PEOPLE that the day they discovered the pregnancy was "just the best for them." The source added, "Everyone is excited for them. They will be great parents, and Justin will be super involved. This will be the next important project for him. He’s so excited to raise his baby.” The couple already has a name picked out and is starting to decorate a nursery.

"They have both been very emotional about it. They feel so blessed," the source continued. "They’ve also felt very protective of the baby from the moment they found out. They shared with family and close friends early on. It was very important for them to keep it quiet and just enjoy [it] for as long as possible before they publicly confirmed."

Justin and Hailey Bieber married in a New York City courthouse on September 13, 2018, followed by a second ceremony with 154 guests in South Carolina on September 30, 2019.
