Ariana Grande rekindles business partnership with Scooter Braun and HYBE

Pop superstar Ariana Grande and her former manager, Scooter Braun, are back in business together. The singer and HYBE, led by CEO Scooter Braun, announced the reconciliation in a statement to PEOPLE on Wednesday, June 12th.

The partnership will focus on "creative opportunities in Weverse and REM Beauty," according to the statement. Grande will continue to be managed exclusively by Brandon Creed/Good World Management.

The news comes after a brief split between Grande and Braun, who had worked together for a decade. In January, Braun became the sole CEO of HYBE America, after his company Ithaca Holdings merged with HYBE in April 2021.

At the time of the split, sources close to Grande said it was her decision to move on and explore new directions. However, it appears the two have found common ground and are ready to resume their professional relationship.

This isn't the first time the pair has experienced a bump in their working relationship. In 2018, Braun revealed to Variety that Grande had fired and then rehired him before the release of her 2016 record. He described the experience as a learning moment that made him a "better manager."
