Three Lahore High Court judges to elevate to the Supreme Court

ISLAMABAD:
The parliamentary panel on Judges Appointment would meet on Friday to consider the elevation of three judges to the Supreme Court.
The JCP, last week, approved the elevation of LHC Chief Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan and Justice Shahid Bilal of the LHC and Chief Justice Aqeel Abbasi of the SHC to the apex court.
The JCP meeting was chaired by CJ Qazi Faez Isa and attended by Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Munib Akhtar, Justice Yahya Afridi, retired judge Manzoor Ahmad Malik AGP Mansoor Awan, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, and PBC’s Akhtar Hussain
