Barack and Michelle Obama’s daughter Sasha turns 23

Michelle and Barack Obama have talked about handling their daughters' dating lives.

Sasha Obama is now 23 years old. Her mom, Michelle Obama, celebrated her birthday on June 10 with an Instagram post.

Michelle shared a photo of the two hugging on a city rooftop. Sasha wore an orange floral dress and rainbow shoes. Michelle wrote: "Happy birthday, Sasha! You make me so proud. Hope this year brings you everything you want and more. Love you."

Sasha graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in sociology in May 2023. Her parents, Michelle and Barack Obama, and sister Malia attended the ceremony.

Sasha moved to the White House in 2009 and graduated from Sidwell Friends School in 2019. She attended college at the University of Michigan before transferring to USC in 2022.

Malia, 25, graduated from Harvard in 2021 and has worked on a TV series and written a short film.

Michelle and Barack have talked about handling their daughters' dating lives. Michelle said they want their daughters to know what they want and who they are in a relationship.

Sasha was spotted with a former college basketball player, and Malia has been linked to a producer. Barack said Michelle is a great example of self-esteem and character.
