Jon Cryer, known for his role in the 1986 film "Pretty in Pink," recently opened up about his past tensions with co-star Andrew McCarthy. During a Q&A session at the Tribeca Film Festival, Cryer admitted that he and McCarthy did not get along on set, describing McCarthy as a "d---" at the time, as reported by People magazine.

McCarthy, who has assembled several members of the Brat Pack, including Cryer, for his upcoming documentary "Brats," did not dispute Cryer's claim. "That's very true," he acknowledged. The two actors had clashed while filming "Pretty in Pink," both vying for the attention of Molly Ringwald's character, Andie.

Demi Moore, another Brat Pack member who worked with both actors on different projects, offered a different perspective, stating, "Well, I didn’t think he was a d---." Cryer responded, "Well, he wasn’t a d--- to you."

The feud between Cryer and McCarthy was eventually resolved in 2012 when they met in the greenroom of "The View," where McCarthy apologized. Cryer described the reunion as a "lovely moment," emphasizing that their teenage behavior did not define who they are now.

Cryer later clarified his comments on social media, stating, "We were just too young to understand each other." He added, "For the record, the man is a prince."

"Brats," a documentary exploring the significance of the Brat Pack, premieres on Hulu on June 13.
