Kurt Russell expressed his unwavering support for stepdaughter Kate Hudson during a Television Academy event for Monarch: Legacy of Monsters at the Wolf Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 8.

Speaking to People, Russell revealed his admiration for Hudson's debut album, ‘Glorious.’

Russell singled out the title track as one of his favorites from the album, praising Hudson's powerful delivery. He remarked,"I like that. I like the way she kicks that out there," he said of the song. "She belts that out there."

Furthermore, Russell shared his fondness for songs that are "about Goldie”, his partner, and his grandson Ryder. One such track, titled ‘Live Forever,’ resonates deeply with him.

"I think those songs are really good, really well done," he added. "I think it's fun. She can sing. The girl can sing, so it's fun to see her just do it and have a fun time with it."

In May, Hudson released her debut studio album, Glorious, marking a significant milestone in her music career. However, audiences got a taste of her singing talents earlier when she showcased her vocal abilities in the musical comedy series Glee during her role as a dance instructor in the fourth season.
