Kendrick Lamar has announced a special performance in Los Angeles on June 19, Juneteenth, titled "The Pop Out – Ken and Friends." Presented by pgLang and Free Lunch, the event will take place at the Kia Forum.

Presale tickets for the all-ages show will be available on Thursday at 10 a.m. PT through the Cash App Card, with general sales starting on Friday at 10 a.m. PT on Ticketmaster.com. Lamar shared the news on his social media, posting an image of a license plate detailing the concert, which will begin at 4 p.m. PT.

The title "The Pop Out" references a lyric from Lamar’s song “Not Like Us,” where he raps, “Sometimes you gotta pop out and show n—s / Certified boogeyman, I’m the one that up the score with ’em.” This song, released last month, was part of an ongoing musical feud with Drake.

The exchange between Lamar and Drake has included personal jabs, accusations, and competitive claims, culminating in Drake’s track “The Heart Part 6,” which responded to Lamar's long-running song series. Recently, Drake referenced the feud in a verse on Sexyy Red’s “U My Everything,” produced by Metro Boomin. The feud began with Lamar's appearance on Metro Boomin's song “Like That,” a collaboration with Future released in March.
