Kallie Wright, Levi's mother, shared a heartbreaking update on June 2, announcing the family's decision to let Levi go. She expressed gratitude for the extra time they had with him, believing Levi gave them time to find peace with their difficult decision. Kallie also acknowledged the outpouring of support from the community, stating that Levi "brought out humanity across the nation."
The accident occurred on May 21 when Levi drove his toy tractor into a river. Life-saving measures were administered at the scene before he was transported to a local hospital and later airlifted to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals and the prayers of countless supporters, Levi's injuries proved to be too severe.
