Legendary singer-songwriter Cyndi Lauper is embarking on her final tour, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour," it was announced on Monday. The North American arena tour will kick off on October 18th in Montreal and conclude on December 5th at Chicago's United Center. This marks Lauper's first major tour in a decade.
Details surrounding Lauper's decision to retire from touring remain undisclosed. However, she is expected to address this during promotional events for her new documentary, "Let the Canary Sing," which premieres on Paramount+ on Tuesday, 4th June 2024
The 23-city tour will see Lauper performing at iconic venues across the continent, including Madison Square Garden in New York (October 30th), Bridgestone Arena in Nashville (November 1st), and the Chase Center in San Francisco (November 26th). A more intimate performance is also scheduled for Detroit's Fox Theatre on October 24th.
