PESHAWAR:

Pashto comedian-actor Mirawas has been hospitalized due to deteriorating health. He is currently receiving treatment under the supervision of specialist doctors. Sources told The Express Tribune that Mirawas is suffering from several serious health issues, including diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiac problems, and other conditions. He was admitted to the hospital’s diabetes ward two weeks ago.

Due to complications from high blood sugar, doctors have decided to amputate his feet. Prior to this, an angiography will be performed on his lower legs. However, due to his fragile condition, he remains under intensive care.

A board of doctors will jointly decide on his angiography under strict monitoring. His veins have weakened significantly, impeding blood flow to his feet. To prevent further damage to his legs, amputation has been deemed necessary. After the surgery, Mirawas will be fitted with artificial feet.

Arrangements are being made to provide Mirawas with treatment through a health card. Despite the hospital providing all necessary medicines and treatments for free, financial difficulties persist.

Recently, rumors about his death circulated on social media, prompting him to release a video from his hospital bed to clarify that he is still alive.

Currently, a large number of people are visiting the hospital to inquire about his health. However, Mirawas has appealed to his well-wishers to refrain from visiting, as the influx of visitors is disturbing his rest, which is urgently needed for his recovery.

The hospital administration reported that while he was in critical condition upon arrival, his health has significantly improved following treatment.
