A new Netflix documentary, ‘24 Hours in Tesco, has left Brits both amused and perplexed, with some calling it 'bizarre' and 'intense propaganda.'

The film, which follows the staff at the supermarket giant, has been described by Netflix as "a one-off special exploring the secrets behind Britain's biggest supermarket chain, and unpacking what 24 hours at Tesco really looks like."

Reactions on social media were divided.

One user on X, formerly known as Twitter, quipped, "Watching the 24 Hours in Tesco on Netflix out of sheer curiosity, and it's such intense and bizarre Tesco propaganda. Someone on the show called the shop 'Everything To Everyone.' Tesco's... it has what shoppers crave."

Another agreed, adding, "So true. Propaganda."

One user joked, "24 Hours in Tesco being in the top three films in the UK has got to be the most British thing ever."

Another quipped, "I just watched 24 Hours in Tesco on Netflix. Never have I been more proud to be a Clubcard holder than I am today. Absolutely fantastic stuff."

One even went as far as to label the documentary "a banger."

Despite the mixed reviews, it seems Tesco has successfully captured the nation's attention—even if it's just for 43 minutes of supermarket shenanigans.
