Charlie Hunnam, recognised for his role as Jax Teller in the hit series "Sons of Anarchy," is set to star as Leo, a master thief, in Amazon Prime Video's adaptation of the acclaimed graphic novel series "Criminal."

The show, described as an "interlocking universe of crime stories," follows Leo's journey as a brilliant strategist who avoids violence in his heists.

Hunnam joins previously announced cast members Adria Arjona, Richard Jenkins, and Kadeem Hardison.

The series marks another crime-focused role for the actor, who has also portrayed complex characters in "Shantaram" and "The Gentlemen." His diverse acting career includes roles in "Pacific Rim," "True History of the Kelly Gang," and "Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire."

"Criminal" is co-showrun and executive produced by Ed Brubaker, the original graphic novel writer, alongside Jordan Harper. Sean Phillips, Sarah Carbiener, and Phillip Barnett also serve as executive producers. Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden are set to direct the first four episodes. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, with Legendary Television also executive producing.
