ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan secured victory in the Pak-Australia volleyball series by defeating Australia in consecutive matches, winning the series 2-0 with one game remaining. The third and final match of the three-match series will be played on May 30.

In the second match held at Liaquat Gymnasium in Islamabad on Wednesday, the Green Shirts displayed remarkable performance against the Kangaroos. Pakistan won the first set 26-24, followed by a 25-19 victory in the second set, and clinched the third set 25-23.

With this consecutive win, Pakistan not only claimed the second match but also secured the overall series win.

A large number of enthusiastic spectators attended the match, and the Liaquat Gymnasium echoed with chants of "Pakistan Zindabad", celebrating the victory.

The third and final match of the three-match series will take place on May 30. This series marks Australia's first time playing volleyball in Pakistan.

Yesterday, the Green Shirts delivered an impressive performance against the Kangaroos, clinching the first match of the series with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, and 25-20.
