Ben Affleck arrives solo and somber at daughter's graduation bash

The Oscar winner appeared alone and dejected at his daughter Violet's graduation party on Monday.

Ben Affleck appeared downcast as he arrived alone at his daughter Violet's graduation party amid rumors of a split with Jennifer Lopez.

According to the Daily Mail, The 51-year-old Oscar winner wore a beige sportcoat on Monday for his daughter Violet's graduation party in Los Angeles. 

Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner's eldest child, Violet, graduated from high school last week.

This appearance coincides with reports that Affleck and his wife Jennifer Lopez are living separately two years into their marriage. 

While Lopez remains in their $60 million Bel Air mansion, Affleck is staying in a $100,000 monthly rental home near Garner's Brentwood residence, Daily Mail reports.

Affleck and Garner, who were married from 2005 to 2018, share three children: Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.

Recently, Affleck was seen without his wedding ring but wore it again during his outing on Friday. Lopez was also seen wearing her wedding ring in Los Angeles on Friday.

Reports of trouble in Affleck and Lopez's marriage surfaced last week when the couple had not been seen together since late March. 

Despite reuniting last week at Fin's school recital, Affleck skipped the premiere of Lopez's Netflix movie "Atlas" on Monday. 

Lopez declined to answer questions about their marriage during the film's press tour.

A source told Page Six that Affleck regretted marrying Lopez in July 2022, describing the past two years as a "fever dream" and suggesting that if a divorce could be based on "temporary insanity," he would pursue it. 

The source added, "He feels like he's come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work."
