Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's Beverly Hills mansion received an unwelcome visitor this weekend – a skunk. The couple took to Teigen's Instagram Stories on Sunday, May 26th, to share their encounter with the smelly critter.

Teigen documented the ordeal with a series of posts. The first included a blurry photo of the skunk, presumably captured on the couple's CCTV system. "I cannot explain the stench this being shot into our home," Teigen captioned the photo.

Subsequent videos showcased Teigen and Legend's reactions to the pungent odor. In one clip, Teigen, clad in a fluffy mint green robe, investigates the source of the smell with a shocked expression. "Oh my God! Oh my God!" she exclaims to her followers. Legend walks behind her, adding, "Oh, it's bad! Oh my God, it stinks!"

Teigen manages a laugh amidst the unpleasantness. "Wait that's so funny ... a little tiny thing! We should air it out," she says, while Legend jokes about their dogs suffering from the smell.

A second video shows Teigen heading upstairs, only to discover the odor has permeated that area as well. "Oh my God, it's upstairs! How on earth? Oh my God. What the f---?" she exclaims in disbelief.

This incident comes just days after Teigen opened up about her struggles with mental health on social media. While documenting herself attempting a log crossing exercise, she revealed that despite past challenges, the activity remained difficult. Teigen expressed a fear of letting her followers down and a general feeling of being a diminished version of herself.

While the skunk incident undoubtedly caused some temporary discomfort, it appears Teigen and Legend are handling the situation with their usual humor.
