Princess Kate and Prince William are reportedly concerned about a potential alliance forming between Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and the Sussexes, according to royal commentator Tom Quinn.
According to the Mirror, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have maintained a close relationship with Prince Harry over the years.
Princess Eugenie was notably the first royal Harry introduced to Meghan Markle.
However, both Beatrice and Eugenie did not attend Prince Harry's Invictus Games event earlier this month.
Harry visited London on May 7 to give a reading at St Paul's Cathedral for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, a competition he founded in 2014.
No working royals attended, although Princess Diana's brother, Earl Spencer, was present.
Weeks later, Beatrice and Eugenie joined Prince William at a Buckingham Palace garden party. Quinn noted, "For William and Kate, an alliance between Harry and Meghan and Beatrice and Eugenie is a huge worry."
Quinn shared with The Mirror, "They sense that Beatrice and Eugenie feel that, as virtual outcasts themselves, they have far more in common with Harry and Meghan than with any other part of the family."
Last week, Princess Eugenie emphasized the importance of "supporting family" after attending a garden party hosted by Prince William.
She stated, "Come rain or shine, I was delighted to support my family yesterday to meet some special individuals at the Buckingham Palace Garden Party who have gone above and beyond to support their local communities and the country."
