Earlier today, Sabrina Carpenter performed her own set at the festival in Luton, but that wasn't the end of her appearance.
Hinting at his upcoming guest, fans noticed frontman Chris Martin singing "that’s that me espresso" from Carpenter’s recent hit ‘Espresso’ at the end of Coldplay’s song ‘Fix You’.
Martin then delighted fans by surprising them with the popstar, who joined him to perform ‘Magic’ from their 2014 album ‘Ghost Stories’.
After their duet, Martin praised Carpenter, saying, “your lyrics are amazing and you’re amazing!” Carpenter responded enthusiastically, “I love Coldplay. What is this? Give it up for Coldplay – what the hell?”
The band has announced plans to stop making music in 2025 and in January, they shared that their upcoming album ‘Moon Music’ was nearly complete.
