Priscilla Presley, the former wife of music legend Elvis Presley, turned 79 on May 23rd, surrounded by loved ones.
The celebration, held at Cipriani in Beverly Hills, California, was documented by Priscilla's son, Navarone Garcia, who shared a montage on Instagram.
“Happy Happy HAAAAPIEST of birthdays to the best mama in the whole world @priscillapresley,” Garcia wrote in the caption.
“hope you enjoyed your night last night. I love you so so much 🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘thank you to everyone that came, and everyone that put everything together, and @chrisameruoso for the 📸”
Priscilla reshared the montage on Instagram, writing, “Last night my loving son @nava_rone planned a surprise Birthday party for me. What an evening being around so many special loved ones. Thank you Navarone-Mom.”
Priscilla's granddaughter Riley Keough, daughter of the late Lisa Marie Presley, was a prominent presence in many of the pictures.
In one photo, Garcia and Priscilla beam while holding a birthday cake decorated with a picture of them and the words “Happy Birthday Priscilla.”
Other snaps showcased Riley chatting with Garcia, and Priscilla enjoying moments with her granddaughters, including 15-year-old twins Harper and Finley Lockwood.
Priscilla looked elegant in a chic black ensemble, while Riley opted for a flowy white dress and cream skirt.
The celebration arrives amid a recent legal battle concerning Graceland, Elvis' iconic Memphis mansion.
Riley, named the sole trustee of a trust set up by her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, fought to block Naussany Investments & Private Lending LLC from selling the property. Lisa Marie reportedly took a $3.8 million loan from the company with Graceland used as collateral.
Standing by her granddaughter, Priscilla took to social media to denounce the attempted sale. Sharing a photo of Graceland on Instagram, she wrote in bold red letters, “It's a scam.”
Her message echoed the Presley family's sentiment, with a judge ultimately siding with them. The sale was halted, ensuring Graceland will remain open to the public for Elvis fans to experience “a best in class experience,” as stated by Graceland and Elvis Presley Enterprises in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.
“As the court has now made clear, there was no validity to the claims,” the statement continued. “There will be no foreclosure. Graceland will continue to operate as it has for the past 42 years.”
