Sarah Ferguson expressed frustration at a Cannes Film Festival party when the audience talked over her as she took the stage.

According to The Mirror, the Duchess of York attended the amFAR gala charity event, which supports AIDS and HIV prevention. Wearing a £13,000 Lilith Cocktail Dress, she addressed the crowd during the auction of a painting of the late Queen.

She reprimanded the audience for not listening, then apologized to young people for environmental issues.

She also thanked artist Simon de Pury for his painting of the late monarch, which sold for over £400k.

In a clip posted to Instagram by supermodel Heidi Klum, Prince Andrew's ex-wife ranted, "Quiet because the incredible person Simon de Pury has done an amazing job tonight, this is exceptional, and all I want to say to everyone in this room is stop, stop, stop."

She continued, "Did you see I removed the microphone because all of you are saying 'I want to go, because where is the next party? What are we meant to be doing next?'"

"But what I want to say is why are we here? What is the future and why are we not making our planet better for the youth of tomorrow?"

She added, "I am so sorry that we have completely destroyed your planet, but thanks to amFAR and these people with scientific brilliance."

In recent months, Sarah Ferguson has been increasingly reintegrated into the royal family, attending several family events with her ex-husband Prince Andrew, the Mirror reports.

She joined the royals at Sandringham for their annual Christmas morning walk to church and attended a memorial service for former King Constantine of Greece at Windsor Castle in February.

In March, she was among the select few royal family members who attended the annual Easter Sunday service at St George's Chapel in Windsor with King Charles.
