Since the debut of 'Cowboy Carter' teasers during the 2024 Super Bowl, devoted fans of Beyonce and Lady Gaga, known as the Beyhive and LittleMonsters respectively, have speculated that the two artists are subtly hinting at a reunion for their 2010 hit 'Telephone.'
Following months of speculation, Gaga, who is actively promoting her upcoming HBO concert film 'Gaga Chromatica Ball' premiering on May 25, addressed the rumors.
She expressed to the press, “Whenever Beyoncé calls, I’d like to pick up the phone,” without directly denying any potential new collaboration.
However, she did confirm that her upcoming album, the successor to the chart-topping 'Chromatica' from 2020, is in the final stages of production.
“I have been working on my new music all the time and I truly live and breathe it. I just can’t wait to give it to the fans,” she relayed about the highly anticipated LP before saying it’s a “completely different project.”
When asked about the album's release, Gaga told interviewers: “they hate when I say, ‘Soon,’ but soon.”
The music news arrives as fans anticipate Gaga's portrayal of the DC Comics villain "Harley Quinn" in the highly anticipated 'Joker: Folie a Deux,' set to release on October 4.
