Emmy-winning writer and creator of Abbott Elementary, Quinta Brunson, recently revealed her unexpected Christmas wish on The Drew Barrymore Show: to secretly write a Hallmark Christmas movie.

Brunson admitted her love for Hallmark Christmas movies, despite not celebrating the holiday herself. "My TV doesn't leave that channel during Christmastime," she confessed. "I love them so much and I really want to ghostwrite one."

Brunson plans to use a pseudonym to avoid any bias from viewers who might recognize her name. She wants the audience to enjoy (or not enjoy) the movie as they would any other Hallmark film, without preconceived notions based on her previous work.

Hallmark Channel is known for its extensive lineup of Christmas movies, airing 42 different festive films in the last year alone. If Brunson's dream comes true, it will be a challenge for Abbott Elementary fans to identify her signature writing style under a hidden pen name.
