Kate Hudson surprised fans on Tuesday night with a show-stopping performance on ‘The Voice’ season finale.
The actress, known for her roles in films like ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’ and ‘Bride Wars,’ took the stage to sing ‘Glorious,’ the title track from her recently released debut album.
Hudson wore a white mini dress and cape, performing amidst a stage adorned with flowers and soft lighting. On-screen lyrics were projected in the background as Hudson sang her romantic ballad.
Many fans were pleasantly surprised by her talent. Social media erupted with reactions, with some viewers expressing disbelief at her singing abilities.
“Kate Hudson can hold a note?!” one user wrote on X.
However, Hudson’s debut album is not her first singing endeavour. Previously, she played Cassandra July in FOX’s TV music series, ‘Glee,’ singing covers of multiple songs, including ‘All That Jazz’ from the musical, ‘Chicago.’
‘The Voice’ finale also featured a fiery performance by country singer Lainey Wilson, who sang her latest hit ‘Hang Tight Honey’ on a stage resembling stacked speakers.
Wilson's show was further amplified by pyrotechnics and fire effects. Following her performance, country legend Reba McEntire surprised Wilson with an invitation to join the prestigious Grand Ole Opry. Wilson expressed her gratitude towards McEntire, citing her as a major influence.
Kate Hudson's surprise performance and Lainey Wilson's emotional moment with Reba McEntire made ‘The Voice’ season finale a night to remember.
