Starstruck Muneeb Butt 'cancelled all commitments' to meet Manoj Bajpayee

At a recent event in Dubai, Pakistani actor Muneeb Butt met one of his inspirations, Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee. In a sweet interaction on stage, the pair praised each other’s work and Muneeb revealed that he had always wanted to meet the Gangs of Wasseypur actor. 

In front of Manoj and the audience, the Shiddat actor stated, “I just wanted to say that I’m fortunate enough to be meeting you. When I found out you were going to be here today, I cancelled all commitments and I’m here because I’m such a huge fan of yours.” The Pakistani star shared a video of the interaction on Instagram. 

Muneeb expressed his genuine admiration for the more experienced actor. “Whenever we need inspiration for our projects, we always use one of your characters as inspiration,” said the Qalandar actor.

Given that Muneeb posted the video on his social media, the comments were littered with praise for the pleasant exchange between the actors. One user commented, “Wow. Both of you are amazing,” while another wrote, “Well said, boy,” complimenting Muneeb’s choice of words for the Bollywood actor.

Later, as seen in the video posted by Muneeb, while the two were still on stage, fans in the crowd began chanting at Manoj requesting him to deliver one of his famous dialogues. The Satya actor then proceeded to act out one of his most iconic scenes from Gangs of Wasseypur which was met with resounding cheers from the audience.

Fans loved the exchange so much that some demanded a collaboration between the two countries, commenting, “Indian and Pakistani artists need to collaborate!”
