Doja Cat, an American rapper, recently criticized Fortnite players on social media, calling them "horrible" and "garbage" for using the game's powerful Chains of Hades weapon, which many consider to be overpowered.

Yesterday, the Grammy Award-winning artist, known for songs like "Say So," "Paint the Town Red," and "Kiss Me More," posted a series of messages expressing frustration about the Fortnite weapon.

For those unfamiliar, the Chains of Hades is a whip weapon in Fortnite's current season with a Greek god theme. It has two functions: pulling distant players towards you and then delivering a rapid series of close-range attacks.

On the platform X, Doja Cat expressed her frustration with the game:

"If you're horrible and garbage at Fortnite make sure you grab a Chains of Hades whip to pass the time. Dumb c****.”

"If Fortnite knew what was good for them they'd get rid of Chains of Hades," she followed up with, two minutes later.

In response to a fan who mentioned that the Chains of Hades was their favorite weapon, Doja Cat jokingly concluded,"Because you're terrible."

Doja Cat is no stranger to Fortnite, and often streams herself playing the game.

The artist's music is featured in Fortnite through several emotes. For example, "Say So" was widely used in the game for a period. Additionally, the popular Joy skin, which is the game's first representation of a character with vitiligo, includes an emote that samples another Doja Cat track.

In another Fortnite-related Tweet, Doja came for people who use the water bending features, writing: “water bending is a f****** crutch you are not good at the game because of water bending, I would become severely depressed if I had to rely on any of these stupid non f****** weapons.”
