Olivia Culpo reveals what she and Christian McCaffrey won't do on their wedding day

The ex-Miss Universe is adopting a "laid-back approach" towards her upcoming wedding

The former Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo, is getting ready for her big day with NFL star running back, Christian McCaffrey.

During an exclusive conversation with People magazine at a dinner hosted by Olivia Culpo and the nutritional supplements company Thorne in New York City on Tuesday.

Culpo, aged 32, disclosed the one aspect she intends to avoid when it comes to marrying Christian McCaffrey, aged 27.

Culpo told People magazine, "I know for sure we're not going to do a first look, so he won’t see me until I'm walking down the aisle, I think that that's a little less common these days."

Regarding wedding preparations, Culpo disclosed that she's aiming for a "laid-back approach" and is not stressing too much about it.

"I think anything can happen at any moment when you are on the day. And I'm just trying to prepare as much as possible and then let it lie. Whatever happens will happen," she told People magazine.

"At least I know I prepared as much as I could, but I'm really taking a laid-back approach to all of this."

Culpo mentioned postponing their potential honeymoon to next year due to McCaffrey's NFL season and sports commitments.

Culpo and McCaffrey, who started dating in 2019 after being introduced by mutual friends, became engaged in April 2023 during a trip to Utah. 

In an earlier interview with People magazine, the model affirmed that "the countdown is on," stating, "It's happening."

The specific wedding date of the former Miss Universe and San Francisco 49ers running back remains undisclosed. 

However, Culpo expressed her anticipation for the ceremony and looks forward to walking down the aisle and seeing her future husband awaiting her.
