Two larger benches of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) are taking up the contempt of court proceedings in the wake of a malicious social media campaign against Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani and Justice Babar Sattar on Tuesday (today).
The Islamabad High Court had constituted two larger benches for contempt of court proceedings by converting the letters based on the complaint of two judges into petitions.

A three-member larger bench comprising IHC Chief Justice Aamir Farooq, Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir will hear the matter of Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, while Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri and Justice Sardar will hear the complaint of Justice Babar Sattar.
