Keanu Reeves has revealed his eagerness to collaborate with Sandra Bullock once again for a potential third installment of the action-packed Speed franchise.
The 59-year-old actor, who portrayed officer Jack Traven in the original 1994 film, expressed his enthusiasm for the idea during a recent interview on the 50 MPH podcast.
Reeves emphasised their potential to knock it out of the park and hinted at a compelling siren call drawing him back to the iconic role.
Bullock, who starred alongside Reeves in the original film and its 1997 sequel, Speed 2: Cruise Control, echoed his sentiments, expressing her desire to work with him again before their careers conclude.
The duo last shared the screen in the 2006 romance film "The Lake House."
Despite turning down a role in the sequel, Reeves has maintained a fondness for the original Speed and his collaboration with Bullock.
He cited a lack of resonance with the script for Speed 2: Cruise Control, which took place aboard a luxury cruise ship, as his reason for declining the opportunity.
Fans of the franchise have long awaited a reunion between Reeves and Bullock, praising their on-screen chemistry in the original film.
With both actors expressing interest in a potential third installment, speculation and anticipation among audiences continue to grow.
