MUZAFFARGARH:

Four men allegedly launched a violent attack on their neighbour's home, inflicting harm on family members and stealing his motorcycle in Ali Pur city on Friday.

The altercation stemmed from the victim, Ijaz Hussain, installing a CCTV camera system at his residence, a move that apparently irked the accused, identified as Zulfiqar, Waqar, Imran, and Kamran, who were reportedly involved in drug trafficking.

As per the details outlined in the First Information Report (FIR), Ijaz Hussain lodged a complaint with the Ali Pur city police, narrating how his neighbors objected vehemently to the installation of the CCTV system.

Despite their opposition, he proceeded with his plans.

This defiance allegedly provoked the four brothers into forcibly entering his house.

Armed with clubs, they assaulted Hussain and his family members, resulting in severe injuries to his wife.

Additionally, they seized his motorcycle before fleeing the scene.

Upon receiving the report, the Ali Pur city police promptly arrived at the site, initiating investigations and conducting a thorough examination of the crime scene. However, as of the latest update, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident, leaving the complainant disillusioned with the pace of justice.
