The war of words between Drake and the hip-hop community is intensifying.
On Friday, Drake unleashed "Taylor Made Freestyle," a diss track using AI-generated vocals of Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg, taunting Kendrick Lamar for his silence.
He also taunts Lamar about his potential response being overshadowed by Taylor Swift's new album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.
The track opens with a computer-altered Tupac directly addressing Lamar, calling him the "West Coast savior" and urging him to respond.
The AI Snoop Dogg then chimes in, questioning Lamar's strategy and accusing him of being out of his depth. While Drake likely rapped the Tupac and Snoop portions himself, his own verse at the end confirms this is merely a warm-up for Lamar's reply.
This feud erupted after Lamar's surprise verse on Future and Metro Boomin's "Like That" challenged J. Cole's claims about his place in the hip-hop hierarchy. The fallout has seen J. Cole issue his own controversial response, now withdrawn, and Drake's previous diss track "Push Ups."
